The rest of the batters gave starts as Hong Kong reached a more than defendable total on board. From the bowlers, Amir Farooq took 2 wkts while rest of the bowlers also chipped in well.

Qatar chasing 198 once again had a somewhat shaky start at the top of the order but it was Muhammad Tanveer at the middle order who pretty much nailed it with blinder of an innings as he scored an unbeaten 80* off 46 balls spanking 6 sixes and 5 boundaries. The match got exciting till the very last ball with Amir Farooq (31 runs) also giving a good support to Tanveer.
