Prayag Kumar bags yet another “MoM” as Winniepeg Blues clinch a win over AICC | Cricket Canada

AICC Team batting first at Waverly Ground (WPG) in Canada made a total of 134/8 in 20 overs. Opener Harpreet Manes was the top scorer with 61 runs while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going vs quality bowling attack of Winniepeg Blues. WPG gave a try to as many as 9 bowlers in the match and Prayag emerged to be the pick of the lot from them returning with bowling figures of 3/21. Prayag took all the 3 top order wickets which set the momentum in his team’s favor.

Chasing 135 looked like a mere formality for Winnipeg Blues as they took mere 15.1 overs to cross the victory line winning the match by 5 wkts. Openers Adishail and Jaimin set the tone with their quick 30’s while Deven Patel (23*) and Prayag Kumar (18*) at the middle order finished off things with an unbeaten stand for 4th wicket.
