Prayag bags MoM as Winnipeg Blues clinch a win over Sher E Maples in MCA Elite Division’24

Played at Labarriere Park 3 (WPG) in Canada, Sher E Maples team batting first scored a total of 137/7 in 20 overs with Trevor M (27 runs) and Harpreet Saini (32 runs) being the top scorers for their team. From the bowlers, all-rounder Prayag Kumar was the most effectiveof the lot taking 2 crucial top order wickets conceding just 19 runs alongwith a maiden in his spell of 4 overs. Apart from Prayag, Simranpreet also bagged 2 wkts in his spell of 3 overs.

Chasing 138, Winnipeg Blues made it look comfortable as they took just 18.5 overs to cross the victory line. Hirusha (45 runs) and Simranpreet (42 runs) at the top order laid down the foundation while Prayag and Kulwinder finished off things with their unbeaten cameos.

Prayag who came at no.5 scored 18* off 10 balls which also included a six to wrap up things for his team as Winnipeg Blues won the match by 6 wkts. Prayag Kumar for his all-round performance was declared ‘man of the match”
