Opener Akhil Herwadkar’s unbeaten 66* guides BPCL to a commanding win in 43rd PSPB Tournament’25

Played at Motibaug Stadium in Vadodara, ONGC batting first made a total of 164/6 in 20 overs with almost every batter chipping in with 20’s and 30’s. From the bowlers, Parth Ankolekar was the pick of the lot taking 2/28 in 4 overs.

Chasing 165, BPCL took mere 15.1 overs to finish of the match courtesy their openers Ayush Mhatre and Akhil Herwadkar putting on a record 156 run opening stand. Ayush scored 90 off 50 balls while Akhil who just scored a blazing century in his previous outing continued from where he left smashing an unbeaten 66* off 38 balls which included 7 boundaries and 4 sixes.

Result: BPCL won the match by 9 wkts and 4.5 overs to spare.
