Nutan Goel stamps his presence with twin tons in U19 KC Mahindra Shield Tournament’22

Played at National CC Ground, Khandu Ragnekar XI after opting to bat first posted a total of 279/10 in 74.4 overs. Nutan Goel top scored in the innings scoring a brilliant knock of 110 runs. Nutan faced 158 deliveries smashing 15 boundaries and 2 sixes while at the same time showing resilience and patience.

Dattu Phadkar XI in reply fell just 1 run short scoring 278 in 73.4 overs including 21 penalty runs. Manan Bhatt from Dattu Phadkar XI top scored with innings of 122 runs. In the 2nd innings Khandu Ragnekar XI just lost 2 wkts in 51 overs scoring 261/2 declare. Nutan Goel was once again the top scorer this time smashing 108* off 117 balls hitting 12 fours and 5 sixes.

Nutan certainly stole the show being the only batsman this season to score twin hundreds in Mahindra Shield Tournament. Dattu Phadkar XI batted for 21 overs for the loss of 1 wkt and 76 runs before the end of the game’s play where Khandu Ragnekar XI won the match on 1st innings lead.
