Mehul Rathod’s Blazing 145 in vain as Aaditya’s 102 steers DPL Pratapgad Royals to a semi-finals win in Designers Premier League’22

Played at Shinde High School Ground in Pune, DPL Pratapgad Royals opting to bat first posted a very healthy total of 199/5 in 20 overs. Aaditya Gupta who showed his batting prowess in his previous outing scoring a superb 110 continued his magical form with the bat scoring back to back T20 hundreds in DPL Season 1. Aaditya this time scored 102 off just 48 balls smashing 10 fours and 6 sixes at a strike rate of 212.36.

DPL Shivneri Warriors in reply scored 179/5 in 20 overs with no.4 batsman Mehul Rathod being the ‘One Man Show” for his team scoring a stunning innings of 145 runs in just 80 balls. Mehul scored majority of his team runs alone and did not allow the opposition to win easily plonking 11 massive sixes alongwith 14 boundaries at a strike rate of 181.25

Result: DPL Pratapgad Royals won by 21 runs, Aaditya Gupta declared ‘Man of the Match’
