Kshtij Metkari strikes with a fifer as Bombay Mercantile Co-op Bank Sports Club wins in D Division Corporate Trophy’24

Jaslok Hospital & Research Center opting to bat first at Sydenham, Oval Maidan were all out for just 66 runs in 16 overs. Spinner Kshitij Metkari was the strike bowler as he returned with a game changing spell to dismantle Jaslok’s batting line up. Only one batter from Jaslok team managed to score in double digits as Kshitij came up with excellent bowling spell of 5/7 in 4 overs which included key top and middle order wickets.

Bombay Mercantile Co-Op Bank Sports Club in reply chased down the score in just 9.2 overs winning the match by 10 wkts. Openers Nilesh Gupta (28*) and Fardeen Shaikh (32*) finished off things for their team ensuring a dominating victory for the Bombay Mercantile team.
