Into the all-important finals at Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy at BKC, Parkophene Cricketers batting first made a total of 167/6 in 20 overs. Aayush Jethwa at no.7 scored an unbeaten 58* off 32 balls which included 3 sixes. From the bowlers, Sagar Chabbaria with 2/27 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot while pacer Zaid Patankar with 1/19 in 3 overs was the most economical from Parsee Gymkhana bowlers.
Chasing 168, Parsee Gymkhana chased down the score in mere 15.2 overs displaying their batting prowess in the all-important finals of the tournament. Sumeir Zaveri (30 off 14 balls) & Vedant Murkar (49 runs off 32 balls) set the tone for the chase while Jayy Jain who came at no.4 played the finishers role to perfection with a match winning half century. Jayy who has been in tremendous form with the bat this season continued from where he left in the last match where he smashed 73* off mere 34 balls in the semi-finals.
A clutch innings of 58* off 32 balls by Jayy ensured Parsee Gymkhana crossed the victory line with dominance while Harsh was ably supported by Harsh Aghav who scored 32* off 13 balls as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 7 wkts and almost 5 overs to spare.
