Muslim United Sports Club opting to bat first at National CC, Cross Maidan made a total of 266/10 in 64.3 overs. Muslim United were off to a solid start with openers putting on 64 runs for 1^st wicket. However, Muslim United did lose some quick wickets after a good start withs scoreboard reading 92/4 at one stage. However, Alsaadh Shaikh at the middle order held fort and guided his team towards a strong position as he scored a crucial half century. Alsaadh went on to score a brilliant 97 off 129 balls which included 11 boundaries and 4 sixes while stitching a 93 run stand for 8^th wicket with Saud Mansuri (38 runs) as Muslim United reached a defendable total of 266 runs.

John Bright Cricket Club in reply were all out for 208 runs in 51.4 overs with Tanay Khandeshi being the pick of the lot bagging 6/46 in 15.4 overs including 5 maidens as Muslim United Sports Club won the match by 58 runs.
