Ontario Cricket makes history! Becomes the first club/academy from Canada to Tour India! Ontario CC will be coming over this weekend to “aamchi Mumbai” where they will experience the maidans of Mumbai and take on the home teams. Ontario CC will be playing 2 T20’s and 1 One Day this weekend at Shivaji Park and Cross Maidan respectively.
Ontario CC established in 2003 by Former Canada Cricketer Derek Perera . The Ontario Cricket Academy & Club delivers a top-tier cricket coaching and playing initiatives recognized for its world-class standards. Their reputation is validated through their results and track record over the past 21 years as they are recognized as Canada’s undisputed best in cricket programs.
Derek quoted to Zoomcricket “This tour to India offers our young players in Canada an opportunity to compete against top-level players in the world’s cricketing powerhouse and immerse themselves in a rich cultural experience. For many, it means returning to their motherland to play.
