Back to back 4wtk hauls for Spinner Shivam Gupta in U23 Shatkar Trophy’25

In the match between MCA B vs MCA C at Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy Ground in Mumbai, MCA B batting first scored 209 runs in 42.4 overs with opener Aadit Degaonkar scoring a half century 61 runs.  From the bowlers, Shivam Gupta with 4/34 was the pick of the lot taking some key top order wickets. Shivam recently also took 4/59 in his previous outing in the same tournament as he displayed his consistency with the ball.

MCA A chased down the score in reply winning the match by 3 wkts and crossing the victory line in 44th over.  Harsh Salunkhe at the middle order anchored the chase with an unbeaten 76* while Shivam Gupta scored 15* at the lower middle order to seal things off for MCA A. Shivam for his 4wkt haul and 15* was also declared ‘man of the match”

On the basis of his consistent performance, Shivam also got selected for U-23 Practice tour at Pune because of Continuous performance in Mumbai U-23 Selection Matches and Club Matches.
