Aayush Jethwa Double Century steers Thakur College to a win in MCA Senior College Tournament’25

Thakur College team opting to bat first on Young Maharashtra Wicket at Shivaji Park in Dadar made a massive total of 400 runs for just the loss of 1 wicket in 40 overs. Openers Aalap (64 runs) and Aayush Jethwa gave a brilliant start to the innings while Aayush who is known for his appetite of big knocks went on to score a brilliant double century to take his team towards a strong position. Aayush scored an impressive knock of 201* in 140 balls which included 23 boundaries and 4 sixes while stitching a massive partnership with Rutvik Pednekar who scored an equally impressive 105* off 64 balls which included 12 boundaries and a six.

Jai Hind College in reply were bundled out for just 76 runs in 26.2 overs with Lucky Singh and Aayush Jethwa bagging 3 wkts each as Thakur College won the match by a massive margin of 324 runs.
