Akhil Herwadkar smashes a blazing 57 ball ton vs HPCL in 43RD PSPB Tournament’25

BPCL opting to bat first at Motibaug Cricket Ground in Vadodara made a massive total of 241/4 in 20 overs.  Opener Akhil Herwadkar laid the platform with his enterprising batting display as he went on to score a flashy hundred. Akhil who has been in consistent form in Mumbai’s Top Division Cricket continued his purple patch as he went on to score a brilliant 102 off mere 57 balls smashing 7 boundaries and 7 sixes striking at 190.00+. Akhil was well supported by Harshal (49 runs) and Sahil Jadhav (63 runs) at the middle order with whom he stitched crucial stands.

HPCL in reply were all out for 157 runs in 19.4 overs as BPCL bowlers did a fine job restricting the opposition. It was a collective bowling effort with Pragyan Ojha, Ayush Mhatre, Parth Ankolekar and Akhil Herwadkar all chipping in with 2 wkts each. Akhil made it an around performance first scoring a hundred and then also scalping 2 wkts as BPCL won the match by 84 runs.
