Harshal Waghmare lightens up with all-round show in MCC Pro 40 Days League’25

MCC Red Elite after being put to bat first at Oval Maidan made a total of 266/10 in 54 overs. After losing the openers early, it was Captain Harshal Waghmare steadying the ship with a solid looking 70 off 70 balls which included 14 boundaries.  Harshal was well supported by Mahil (25 runs) and Aditya (81 runs) and Dev (47 runs) at the lower middle order helping team reach a respectable total. From the bowlers, Tanay Biswal with 4 wkts was the pick of the lot.

MCC Purple Elite in reply were all out for just 165 runs in 42.1 overs thanks to a match winning spell by Harshal Waghmare who returned with excellent bowling figures of 6/34 in 14.1 overs including 6 maidens.  MCC Red Elite batted for 33.2 overs in the 2nd innings scoring 197/6 before the end of the game’s play where MCC Red Elite won the match on 1st innings lead.
