Karan’s all-round heroics ensure a 8 wkt win for Western Railways Sports Club in F Division Times Shield’25

Saraswat Bank Kala Krida Mandal opting to bat first at Western Railways, Cross Maidan were all out for 143 runs in 37.1 overs. Salil Samant’s 48 was the highest score at the middle order while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. From the bowlers, Karan Joshi led from the front returning with a game changing spell as he took 5/29 in 6.1 overs including key wicket of Salil.

Chasing 144, Western Railway Traffic Sports Club chased down the score in mere 20.1 overs courtesy an unbeaten 133 run stand for the 3rd wicket between opener Amol and Karan Joshi. Amol anchored the chase with a solid 50* off 63 balls while Karan scored 72* off 55 balls. Coming at no.4, Karan took the game in his own hands spanking 8 boundaries and 2 sixes lending his team a commanding 8 wkt win over Saraswat Bank.
