JVPG wins as Spinner Yash Pathak bags an impressive fifer vs Muslim United in Purshottam Shield’24

Juhu Vileparle Gymkhana opting to bat first at High Court, Oval Maidan made a total of 213/9 in 45 overs with Abhinav Jagtap at no.4 being the highest scorer with 48 runs. From the bowlers, left arm spinner Aman Manihar with 4/29 was the pick of the lot.

Defending a total of 214, JVPG bowlers did a fine job of restricting Muslim United to just 141 runs all out in 26 overs. Spinner Yash Pathak led from the front for his team as he returned with match winning bowling performance of 5/36 in 6 overs which ultimately made all the difference in the match. Apart from Yash, Samyak also bagged 3 wkts alongwith Samad Akhtar chipping in with a wicket as Juhu Vileparle Gymkhana won the match by 75 runs.
