Himanshu Rathod & Umar Afridi star in Fireox’s win over CBCC in Qatar Pro League’24

Played at West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha, Qatar, CBC batting first were all out for 120 runs in 19.2 overs with their Captain Zaheer Ibrahim being the highest scorer with 20 runs. Fireox bowlers did an impressive job with Umar Afridi leading from the front taking 4/9 in 3.2 overs. All-Rounder Himanshu Rathod also starred with the ball taking 2/20 in 4 overs including the key wicket of opener Kamran Khan.

Fireox Unit in reply chased down the score in 18.3 overs winning the match by 5 wkts. Openers Ramiz (19 runs) and Saqlain (31 runs) gave a solid start to the chase while Himanshu Rathod and Faisal Rasheed played the finisher’s role to perfection with their unbeaten cameos. Faisal scored 28* off 19 balls while Himanshu who scored 17* ended the match in style with a clean six!
