Akhil contributes with an all-round show in CCI’s commanding win in MCA President Cup’24

Shivaji Park Youngsters batting first on CCI ground were all out for 92 runs in 18.3 overs as CCI bowlers made sure giving a tough time to the opposition batters. Kartik Mishra with 4/5 in 3.3 overs was the pick of the lot while all-rounder Akhil Herwadkar also chipped in with 2/21 in 4 overs.

Chasing 93 looked like a mere formality for CCI as they took mere 7.3 overs to finish of the game and win the match by 8 wkts. Akhil Herwadkar opening the innings went all guns blazing scoring an unbeaten 33* off 14 balls (5fours, 1 six) while forging an unbeaten partnership with Akash Parkar who scored 46* off 19 balls as Cricket Club of India won the match in dominating fashion.
