Bhupen Lalwani ton steers Chhattisgarh to a win over CAP President XI in Sr. Mens CAP Multi-Day Inter State Tournament’24

CAP President XI after being put to bat first at Siechem CAP Ground 2 made a total of 264/10 in 64.2 overs with half centuries by openers Akash and Ritesh. From the bowlers, Snehal Chadda with 5/42 was the pick of the lot from Chhattisgarh Team.

Chasing 265, Chhattigarh chased down the total with 5 wkts in hand courtesy a match winning century by Bhupen Lalwani. Last Season Mumbai Ranji Team’s highest scorer in the season, Bhupen started his season with CSCS on a great note guiding the team towards a commanding win. Opening the innings, Bhupen scored a solid 103 off 179 balls which had 13 boundaries and a six as Chhattisgarh crossed the victory line in 69th over winning the match by 5 wkts.
