Spartans CC wins Quarter Finals of Essex and East London Cricket League’24

Into the all-important quarter finals of the tournament, Roding Valley CC opting to bat first at Chigwell Sports Club Ground in UK were all out for 108 runs in 17.3 overs. Spartans CC bowlers did an amazing job restricting Roding Valley CC to a modest total. From the bowlers, all-rounder Yash Dhanak was the pick of the lot returning with envious bowling figures of 4/9 in 4 overs while rest of the bowlers also chipped in with a wicket each.

Chasing 109, Spartans CC chased it down in 17.1 overs winning the match by 7 wkts and qualifying for semi-finals of the tournament. Even though Spartans lost some early wickets, Yash Dhanak and Parimeet Jadhav at the middle order stitched an important partnership to take their team home with a victory. Yash remained unbeaten on 47* off 45 balls while Parimeet remained not out on 40* off 28 balls as Spartans CC won the match in a commanding manner.
