prashi

Ugraretas Cricket Club opting to bat first at Runs Cricket Academy Ground in Bengaluru made a more than decent total on board putting up 208/4 in 30 overs. Opener and Captain of the team Prashi led from the front scoring a brilliant century for his team. Prashi batted from start to end as he went on to score a very solid looking 103* off 98 balls, an innings which included 9 boundaries and lots of hard work between the wickets. Apart from Prashi, all-rounder Naveen at the middle order remained not out on 34* off 21 balls, a quick cameo in death overs which helped the team cross the 200 run mark.

Xencia Challengers Bangalore in reply were bundled out for 131 runs in 22.1 overs as Ugraretas bowlers did a fabulous job with the ball. Deepak Kishore with 4/18 in 4.1 overs was the pick of the lot taking the wicket of set batter Ashish T who was batting on half century while Naveen P turned the heads around with a game changing hat-trick including 2 crucial middle order wickets.

Ugraretas Cricket Club won the match by 77 runs, Prashi declared ‘man of the match”
