6/88 for quickster Aman Sheoran while Rohith Rayadu’s 154 goes in vain in HCA 3 Day League’21

Deccan Chronicle opting to bat first at BCC Cricket Ground in Hyderabad posted a handsome total on board scoring 356/7 in 89 overs. A Varun at no.3 scored a solid 58 while Ravi Teja (75 off 99 balls) and captain CV Milind (78 runs off 88 balls) stitched a brilliant 146 run stand for the 4th wicket. From the bowlers, pacer Aman Sheoran was the pick of the lot taking 2/50 in 14 overs.

Jai Hanuman in reply were all out for 336 runs where in no.3 batsman Rohit Rayadu single handedly steered his team with a top knock of 154 runs in 237 balls. Rohit lacked support from the other end in what was a really impressive display of batting. Wicket-keeper Pratik Reddy with a half century at the middle order was the 2nd highest scorer.

Aman Sheoran who took 6/88 in the match

Deccan Chronicle in 2nd innings were all out for 228 runs courtesy a brilliant spell of fast bowling by Aman Sheoran who took 4/38 in 8 overs taking his tally to 6/88 in 22 overs in the match. Jai Hanuman chasing 249 runs were all out for 148 runs courtesy some tight bowling by the opposition bowlers. Anirudh Raj with 4/39 was the pick of the lot while Chandrasekaren (3/37) and CV Milind (2/19) also chipped in with important spells.

Result: Deccan Chronicle won by 100 runs
