Spartans CC, Essex opting to bat first at Chigwell Sports Club Ground in UK made a total of 180 runs in 39.3 overs. Even though Spartans lost some early wickets, it was Nimesh Mistry at the middle order who held fort with a gritty looking 43 off just 52 balls. Nimesh smashed 4 boundaries and a six accompanied by important cameos by Srikant Sharma (11 off 35 balls) and Jaydeen D (11 off 23 balls) at the lower order.

Sankalp CC in reply were all out for 69 runs in mere 18 overs as Spartans bowlers displayed excellent teamwork on the field with every bowler contributing with wickets. Jaydeep Dhorada and Sri Arun Ayyapa with 3 wkts each were the pick of the lot while Basim Khan and Parimeet Jadav taking 2 wkts a piece as they made life difficult for Sankalp CC batters.

Spartans CC Essex won the match by a huge margin of 111 runs while Jaydeep and Nimesh took home man of the match and man of the moment awards.
