Achievers’s Maharashtra Young Team conquers U12 Bhaskar Tournament finals at Wankhede…

Maharashtra Young team by Achievers Cricket Academy opting to bat first the iconic Wankhede Ground in Mumbai made a total of 183/7 in 35 overs with almost every batsman contributing with crucial cameos. Opener Arjuna Sanghavi with 39 runs, Nishad Parab with 37 runs and Tanish Mahadik at lower middle order with 32 runs were the top scorers.

Defending the total of 184, Maharashtra Young Team bowlers did a fabulous job of restricting the opposition team to just 135/9 in 35 overs. Lakhsya Bhor provided the perfect start removing the openers early on coming up with overall bowling figures of 3/10 in 6 overs while Shaunak Gawade taking 2/27 in 7 overs. The rest of the bowlers also did a fine job as Maharashtra Young Team won the finals of the Bhaskar tournament by 48 runs.

Laksh Bhor for his crucial spell was declared Man of the Finals while Aryan Kamble took home Best Batsman of the Tournament award.
