Spartans CC opting to bat first at Chigwell Sports Club Ground were all out for 141 runs in 31 overs. Most of the batters found it a bit difficult to convert their starts with all rounder Rama Vasanthan being the top scorer with 38 runs at the middle order. Rama scored a quick 38 off 23 balls which included 4 fours and a six.

Defending a total, Spartans CC bowlers did a fab job of restricting Roding Valley CC to 138 runs all out in 28.4 overs. Sai Pujari and Rama V were the stars of the day as they both collectively ran through the opposition’s batting line up taking 3 wkts each. Sai also dismissed Syed Islam who was batting on 65 runs and looking dangerous to finish the game at one stage.

Spartans CC won the margin by a close shave margin of 3 runs as they ended their weekend on a high with all their three teams emerging victorious.
