Deev Jain’s stunning 130* steers JBCN to a yet another win in Giles Shield’23

JBCN International School (Lower Parel) opting to bat first at Government Law College School Ground in Navi Mumbai made a decent total of 255/6 in 44 overs. Even though they lost some quick wickets but it was Deev Jain at no.5 playing a fabulous innings to rescue his team out of trouble. Deev batted till the end scoring a brilliant 130* off 117 balls smashing 17 boundaries at a strike rate of 111.00. The rest of the batters batted around Deev as JBCN International School managed a defendable total on board.

Sharda Mandir High School in reply were all out for 199 runs 40.2 overs as JBCN bowlers did a great job in restricting the opposition. Pratham Nigotiya with 4/24 in 7 overs was the pick of the lot while Stavya Goswami bagged 3/63 in 15.2 overs as JBCN International School won the match by 56 runs and qualified themselves to the 4th round of Giles Shield.
