Tarun Sharma’s half century in vain as Ultimate Fighters clinch a win in TS Hyd Cricket Championship’23

Mitchell Martin India opting to bat first at DMRC Ground in Hakimpet, Hyderabad made a total of 122/10 in 20 overs. Most of the batters found it difficult to get going apart from the in-form Tarun Sharma who scored a gritty half century. Tarun smashed 56 off 39 balls smashing 7 fours and 2 sixes at a strike rate of 143.59 as he kept on playing his natural game despite wickets falling from the other end.

However, a low total on board meant Ultimate Fighters chased it down comfortably in just 11.2 overs winning the match by 8 wkts as Tarun’s efforts of scoring a half century went in vain. However, Tarun Sharma did got rewarded for his efforts as he got the Best Batsman award for top scoring in the match. With this innings, Tarun also completed milestone of 4000+ runs in 137 matches wherein he has 10 centuries and 18 fifties to his name with a highest score of 200*
