Asif Shaikh’s all-round show helps Swara Vicky XI clinch a win in Spider Premier League’23

Swara Vicky XI after being put to bat first at PDTSA Ground, Palghar made a total of 164/6 in 20 overs. Karan More at no.6 was the top scorer batting well in the death overs smashing 42* off 30 balls while all-rounder Asif Shaikh at no.8 remained unbeaten playing a perfect finishers role smashing a quickfire 27* off 15 balls which included 4 fours and a six.

Yash Foundation in reply managed 155/9 in their 20 overs after a late onslaught by their middle order.  Tanvish Vaze at no.6 scored 33 off 20 balls while Manoj Patil at no.8 scored 45* off 26 balls (5 fours, 2 sixes) and at one stage Yash Foundation were looking very much into the game but eventually Swara Vicky XI bowlers got the upper hand in the final overs. Asif Shaikh bowled a fabulous spell taking 2/12 in 4 overs which made all the difference in the end while Vinayak and Pankaj also took 2wkts each.
