Vijay Gohil contributes with a 3wkt haul as Victory CC wins over National CC in Police Shield’23

Victory CC opting to bat first at National CC wicket on Cross Maidan made a total of 305/9 in 70 overs with opener Ramanpreet Singh Ghooman top scoring with 74 runs off 107 balls. Apart from Ramanpreet, Shashwat Jagtap and Suraj Shinde also chipped in with half centuries. From the bowlers, Prabhakar Nishad with 4 wkts was the pick of the lot.

National CC in reply were all out for 231 runs courtesy a great bowling performance by Victory CC bowlers. Experienced left arm spinner Vijay Gohil and pacer Shashank Attarde teamed it up providing timely breakthroughs. Vijay took 3/60 in 13 overs which included 3 maidens while Shashank Attarde took 4/40 in 13.5 overs as Victory CC won the match by 74 runs.
