Skipper Yogesh Balwadkar’s all-round show helps Panhala Panthers win in 2N Designers Premier League’23

Panhala Panthers opting to bat first at Asthapailu Cricket Ground in Pune made a healthy total on board putting up 160/7 in 20 overs. Openers Yogesh Narwade (39 off 27 balls) and Skipper Yogesh Balwadkar (22 off 17 balls) gave a flying start while rest of the batters chipped in with small cameos to take their team to a 150+ total to defend. From the bowlers, Shirke with 3/18 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot.

Pratapgad Royals in reply found it difficult to cope up with a run rate of 8+ throughout the innings despite a decent start given by their openers. Pratapgad Royals could only manage 128/9 in 20 overs with Captain Yogesh Balwadkar leading from the front taking 3/31 in 4 overs. Shailesh Gule and Prathamesh Angane also made valuable contributions taking 2wkts each.
