Red Wings opting to bat first at MBR Cricket Ground in Hyderabad, Telangana made a commanding total of 196/2 in 20 overs with half century by their opener Srinivas Reddy who scored 52 runs. The rest of the batters also contributed with cameos to help their team reach a substantial total on board.
MCC XI in reply could only manage 168/9 in 20 overs as Red Wings won the match by 36 runs. The top order collapsed for MCC but it was Dinesh Mohan at no.4 scoring a flashy and confident looking knock of 68 runs in 46 balls. Dinesh smashed 8 boundaries and 2 sixes but lacked support from the other end. In the end, Dinesh took home Best Batsman of the Match award while Arjun was declared Man of the Match from Reds Team.
