In the Cricketers Mansion T30 Practice Games, Ugraretas Cricket Club opting to bat first at Nadaprabhu Cricket Ground made a very healthy total of 226/8 in 30 overs. Opener Ravi impressed one and all his solid display of batting as he scored a gutsy looking 80 off 85 balls which included 8 boudaries. The rest of the batters chipped in with cameos as they crossed the 200 run mark vs Lightning Bolts. However, the match got abandoned due to rain.
In the next league match of the same tournament which followed vs Elite CC 11S, Ugraretas batting first were all out for 114 runs but they did not gave up and gave their best not allowing the opposition team Elite CC to win easily. It was a close shave encounter where in Elite CC lost 9wkts before they finally crossed the victory line in the 22nd over. Naveen P was the top performer in the match first scoring a handy 30 off 26 with the bat and later taking 4/29 in 6 overs including a maiden.
Even though, the last two matches did not bear desired results but Ugraretas CC seems to be working hard and looks like a team to watch out for in the coming matches.
