Collective Team Performance ensures a Commanding win for Ugraretas Cricket Club in BSA League Edition 3

Blue Hawks Bangalore opting to bat first at SLN Adviteeya Cricket Ground (Beacon Sports Arena) in Bengaluru made a total of 187/9 in 30 overs. Even though most of their batters found it difficult to get going, their keeper batsman Vignesh top scored with a sparkly half century. From the Ugraretas Bowlers, Sangamesh with 3/22 was the pick of the lot while Prakash Yr and skipper Naveen P also chipped in with 2 wkts each.

Chasing 188, Ugraretas were off to a shaky start with the top 3 wkts falling early but it was their strong and resilient middle order which ensure they went back home winning! Almost everyone chipped in with crucial cameos and stitched handy partnerships which helped them sail the ship towards the target. Ravi RK (26*) and Deepak Kishore (30* off 14 balls) remained unbeaten at no.7 and 8 as their partnership played a pivotal role in team’s win. Apart from them too, Captain Naveen who took 2wkts with the ball also chipped in with 28 runs alongwith Prakash Yr (30 off 22 balls) and Tejas Sairam scoring 27 off 31 balls.

Result: Ugraretas Cricket Club won the match by 4 wkts, Prakash Yr declared “Player of the Match”
