Khorlim XI opting to bat first at GCA Ground in Porvorim, Goa made a total of 147/10 in 20 overs. Bhushan Talwadekar at the middle order top scored with 60 off 63 balls while from the bowlers it was Yash Manjrekar who returned with excellent bowling performance. Yash confidently displayed his skills rattling the opposition batters with some tight bowling as he came up with 6/16 in 7 overs including a maiden. Yash took wickets from top to bottom not allowing the opposition team to settle down.
However, Challengers Sports Club were all out for 67 runs in 25.1 overs courtesy 5/16 by Jai Ahuja. Khorlim XI gave a tough fight with the ball ensuring Challengers SC are restricted under their defending total.
Khorlim XI won by 80 runs but it was Yash who certainly left an impact with his bowling. Yash Manjrekar trains at Cricket Mantras Academy in Mumbai under the aegis of Swapnil Pradhan (Top Division and T20 Mumbai), Vishal Chitrakar (Mumbai S&C Coach) and Manish Rao (Ranji Trophy Player).
