Dadar Union’s Zaid Patankar amongst wickets in Bhama Cup’23

Zaid Patankar – One of the upcoming young guns and promising fast bowlers from Mumbai Cricket continues to hone his skills across tournaments this time coming up with important spells in the Bhama Cup.

In the recently held match at Cross Maidan between Regal CC vs Dadar Union Sports Club, Zaid Patankar bagged man of the match award as he came up with a crucial spell of 3/17 in 7 overs which included some key wickets including that of the opener Aryan Hule. Regal CC in reply chased down the score comfortably winning the match by 6 wkts.

In the next match which followed vs Victory CC, Zaid took 2/35 in 7 overs including a key over when 15 runs were needed off the last 2 overs and he bowled the penultimate over affecting a run out. Dadar Union defending 164 runs won by a close margin of 3 runs restricting Victory CC to 161 runs all out.
