Opener G Prem’s Gritty Half Century helps AV Cricket Team sail through with a 2 wkt win

Ashwin Cricket Academy opting to bat first at Ashwin Cricket Ground in Hyderabad made a total of 288/5 in 40 overs. Opener Vikhyath scored a century while rest of the batters also contributed with cameos.  From the bowlers, Deepak Reddy was the pick of the lot with 2/32 in 3 overs.

AV Cricket Team in reply chased down the score successfully in 39 overs winning the match by 2 wkts. Opener G Prem – a Hyderabad State Level Player showed his class batting confidently vs players senior to him as he scored a match winning knock of 73 runs in 85 balls. G Prem was well supported by Deepak Reddy and Ankit Agarwal who scored a half century.

Result: AV Cricket Team won the match by 2 wkts, G Prem for his all-round performance of 73 runs and 1 wkt was declared ‘Player of the Match”
