Cricket Explained’s promising student – 14 Year Old Aarya Sagare rips through the top 3 of TN Warriors Team in the JFSC Matunga Premier League. Aarya was awarded ‘Man Of The Match’ considering his age and the maturity with which he bowled his leg spin with the new ball.

Smashers opting to bat first at Dadar Parsee Colony Ground scored a healthy 173/3 in 20 overs with opener Akhilesh scoring an unbeaten 62* off 54 balls. Varun and Rishikesh at no.2 and 3 further chipped in with 40’s.

TN Warriors in reply were cleaned up for 73 runs in 13.5 overs courtesy some brilliant bowling by Aarya Sagare and Kshitij.  Kshitij returned with bowling figures of 5/15 in 4 overs while Aarya Sagare was equally impressive taking 3 crucial top order wickets in his opening spell which essentially changed the momentum of the match.

Result: Smashers won the match by 96 runs while Aarya Sagare was declared ‘Man of the Match”
