Hrishikesh Puranik smashes a 61 ball Ton for Smashers in JFSC Practice Matches’22

Played at Dadar Parsee Zorastrian Ground in Mumbai, Smashers after opting to bat first posted a very handsome total on board of 237/3 in 20 overs. Openers Hrishikesh and Mukund (42 runs off 31 balls) gave a flying start putting on 140 runs in mere 11.5 overs. Hrishikesh turned things around as he went on to score a brilliant 100 off 61 balls smashing 11 fours and 4 sixes. Hrishikesh retired hurt in the 19th over but he had already left behind damage over opposition bowlers.

Avengers in reply managed 185/7 in 20 overs with almost all their batters chipping in with starts but not able to convert their starts into substantial scores. From the bowlers, Vinumon and Chirag bagged 2 wkts each as smashers won the match by 52 runs.

Hrishikesh Puranik for his fabulous hundred was declared ‘player of the match’
