DPL Sinhagad Panthers win a low scoring semi-final thriller in Designers Premier League’22

Played at Brilliants Academy Ground in Pune, DPL Lohagad Emperors opting to bat first were all out for a low total of 81 runs in 15.1 overs with only two batters (Akash 20 runs & Vinay 12 runs) scoring in double digits. It was a collective bowling performance from Sinhagad Panthers bowlers as all their bowlers contributed with a wicket or two. Vimal Hansraj (2/10), Samir Yadav (2/10), Jayant Sawant (2/7) and Nayan Bhansali (2/12) bagged 2 wkts each.

DPL Sinhagad Panthers in reply chased down the total in 14 overs winning the match by 4 wkts. Rohit Katti at no.3 scored 19 runs while Vimal Hansraj, the impact player played the finishers role scoring 16* off 9 balls.

Result: DPL Sinhagad Panthers won by 4 wkts, Jayant Sawant declared Man of the Match
