Played at Thakur Stadium vs Trendz Cricket Club Kandivali, Lifetsyle Cricket Academy were up to a task of facing a team consisting some really good players who are known to give it a tough fight on the ground. Lifestyle Cricket Academy after being put to bowl first did a commendable job restricting Trendz CC to 137/all out in 20 overs.
It was a spirited bowling performance from Lifestyle Cricket Academy bowlers led by spinner Rajiv Naik who was the pick of the bowlers in the match. Rajiv returned with bowling figures of 4/35 in 4 overs which mainly consisted all the prized wickets of experienced players. What’s more his spell also included 3 clean bowled wickets! Apart from him, Prasanna again returned with a tight spell of 1/18 in 4 overs & Sourav taking 1/27 in his quota of 4 overs.
Lifestyle Cricket Academy in reply won the match by 5 wkts chasing the score successfully in a commanding manner. Opener Tanay scored a well crafted 42 while Pratik at no.3 also gave brilliant support top scoring the innings with 43 runs. It was their 2nd wicket partnership which set the tone for the chase.
