All-Rounder Aryan Reddy & G Prem fight it out with Gritty Half Centuries vs DBCA Seniors

Played at Rahul Cricket Ground in Telangana, Velosio after being put to bat first almost collapsed with scoreboard reading 48/5 in the 14th over. However, Hyderabad Cricket’s young prodigies Aryan Reddy and G Prem fought it out stitching a 107 run stand for the 6th wicket to help their team reach a respectable total. While Aryan coming at no.6 remained unbeaten scoring a brilliant 56* off 71 balls (5 fours), G Prem  coming at no.7 scored 60 off 95 balls as both the youngsters displayed solid composure under pressure.

DBCA Seniors in reply chased down the score winning the match by 1 wicket. Velosio did gave a tough fight but DBCA eventually crossed the victory line with last wicket in hand. All-Rounder Aryan Reddy was the pick of the lot with the ball taking 3/24 in 6 overs.

Even though, Velosio lost the match, they did gave a hard time to the DBCA Seniors and it wasn’t an easy win for sure for them! It was also commendable to see young cubs Aryan and G Prem showing maturity at the crease when their team was in deep trouble.

For the uninitiated, Aryan and G Prem both are in the Hyderabad State Team contentions. Aryan has so far notched up 6652 runs at a stunning batting average of close to 56.00 in 163 matches alongwith 153 wkts while G Prem has around 5000 runs with an average of 36.00 coupled with 183 wkts in 209 games.
