Adarsh Singh’s crucial half century ensures a commanding win for Patna Team

Making a comeback after almost two and a half months from injury, Bihar’s promising state level player Adarsh Singh made his presence felt in his very first outing post injury scoring a match winning half century.

Played at New India Cricket Academy Ground in Muzaffarpur, the practice match amongst all state level players turned out to be an exciting affair with Patna Team batting first and scoring a mammoth total of 210 in 35 overs. Despite a top order collapse, it was Adarsh and Rishav at the middle order changing things around for their team. Adarsh who came at no.6 scored a solid 53 off 55 balls laced with 5 fours and 1 six while Rishav scored 50 off 52 balls smashing 4 fours and 2 sixes. Adarsh came in where scoreboard was reading 50/5 and it was certainly a very impressive knock under pressure.

Muzzafarpur in reply were all out for 94 runs courtesy some tight bowling by the Patna bowler as Patna went on to win the match by a handsome margin of 116 runs.
