Played at Labarriere Park 1 (WPG), Winnipeg Blues batting first made a total of 256/7 in 50 overs. Top order batters Pubudu and Hirusha smashed half centuries while Prayag Kumar at the middle order scored a handy knock of 37 runs off 51 balls while stitching a small partnership with Adeel Abbas (24 runs). From the bowlers, Baljit with 3/41 in 10 overs was the pick of the lot.
Royal Tigers in reply were all out for 42.4 overs with all-rounder Prayag Kumar being the pick of the lot taking 3/26 in 9 overs. Prayag was not only economical but also took 3 important top order wickets including both the openers which made all the difference in the match. Apart from Prayag, Mahinder with 3/41 and Milan with 2 wkts chipped in with wickets as Winnipeg Blues won the match by 71 runs.
