Played at Shivaji Park Gymkhana in Mumbai, MIG Cricket Club opting to bat first in an important quarter finals clash made a total of 190/8 in 20 overs. Sheesh Shetty at no.3 scored 81 off 57 balls being the top scorer for MIG. From the bowlers, Irfan Umair with 2/38 in 4 overs was the pick of the lot. The rest of the bowlers chipped in with a wicket each including Akhil who took 1/15 in 2 overs.

Chasing 191, Akhil Herwadkar and Akash Anand took the game in their hands with an impactful opening partnership of 122 runs in 12 overs. Akhil scored an impressive 61 off 42 balls laced with 7 boundaries and a six while Captain Akash Anand scored 82 off 52 balls smashing 8 boundaries and 1 six. Both the openers laid the platform for a successful chase while Suved Parkar (24 off 9balls) and Dhrumil Matkar (14* off 4 balls) played finisher cameos as Cricket Club of India won the match by 5 wkts.
