Western Railway Traffic Sports Club Emerge Champions of F Division MCA Corporate Trophy’26

Into the all important finals at MCA BKC Ground in BKC, Team BMC batting first scored a total of 110/8 in 20 overs. Hrishikesh Patkar at no.3 was the highest scorer with 30 runs while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going vs Western Railway bowlers. It was an excellent bowling display by the bowlers with every bowler keeping it tight while also taking breakthroughs at regular intervals. Rahul Thakur with 2/19 in 4 overs, Amol Bhalekar with 2/10 and Karan Joshi with 2/29 were the pick of the lot while Akshay Girap was the most economical conceding just 9 runs in 3 overs.

Chasing 111, Western Railway did lose some early wickets with scoreboard at one point reading 3/18 in the 6th over. However, they got back into the game quickly with Tushar Shringare (40* off 45 balls) and Mayuresh Pavaskar (25 runs off 28 balls) & Atish Walinjkar (18 off 15 balls) playing crucial cameos at the middle order. Tushar anchored the chase perfectly as he played a perfect foil to other batters as Western Railway Traffic Sports Club won the finals by 4wkts and 4 balls to spare!

With this win, they become Champions for two times in a row!
