Mazgaon Dock Sports Club batting first on Western Railway, Cross Maidan were all out for a total of 127 runs in 19.2 overs. Akshay Dubey at no.3 was the highest scorer with 33 runs while rest of the batters found it difficult to get going. Western Railway bowlers were spot on with their line and length not allowing the opposition batters to let loose while taking wickets at timely intervals. Akshay Girap with 2/22 in 4 overs and Karan Joshi with 2/4 in 1.2 overs were the pick of the lot while the experienced Pro Rahul Thakur with 1/17 in 4 overs was the most economical of the lot.

Chasing 128, Western Railway Traffic Sports Club chased down the score successfully winning the match by 2 wkts. Opener Amol Bhalekar anchored the chase with a match winning half century as he scored 59 off 49 balls (9 boundaries). Amol kept the scoreboard ticking even when wickets were falling from the other end while all-rounder Atish Walinjkar (23 runs) and Skipper Akshay Girap (17 runs) lent crucial cameos at the middle order to take their team home in the final over of the game.
