National Stock Exchange after being put to bat first at Oval Maidan in Mumbai batted really well putting up 183/4 in 20 overs. Opener Sourav Mehra led from the front with an attacking knock of 83 runs in 55 balls. Sourav kept the scoreboard ticking even when some early wickets fell from the other end as he smashed 13 boundaries and a six striking at almost 154.55. Kevin (23 runs) and Shubham Garate (27* off 13 balls) also provided handy cameos as NSE reached a respectable total on the board to defend.
Sapphire Foods in reply were reduced to 104/9 in 20 overs courtesy excellent bowling by NSE Bowlers. It was a collective team performance where 6 bowlers contributed with a minimum wicket each with Sriram Iyer being the pick of the lot taking 2/9 in 2 overs while Kuldeep Soni being the most economical taking 1/9 in 3 overs.
