Played at MBB Stadium in Agartala, Tripura batting first made a total of 266 runs 82.5 overs with half centuries by Sridam Paul and Swapnil Singh. From the bowlers, Mayank Mishra with 4 wkts and Janmejay with 3 wkts was the pick of the lot.
Uttarakhand in reply scored 310 runs in 1st innings powered by half centuries by Lakshya, Saurabh and Suchith. From the bowlers, MB Mura Singh with 6 wkts was the pick of the lot. Tripura in 2nd innings were all out for 258 runs giving a target of 224 runs to Uttarakhand which they chased quite comfortably thanks to a brilliant 164 runs partnership between opener Bhupen Lalwani and Captain Kunal Chandela (83* off 106 balls).
Bhupen anchored the chase with his solid batting approach as he went on to score a match winning 100* off 217 balls which had 14 boundaries in it. This was Bhupen’s 2nd Ranji Ton as it helped Uttarakhand win the match in commanding fashion by 9 wkts.
