Knight Riders opting to bat first at Pavilion Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad made a total of 175/7 in 20 overs. With team struggling at 66/6 and 85/6 at one stage, Soumyojit played a very crucial knock of 52* which took the team towards a respectable position. Coming at no.7, Soumyohit played a blinder of an innings smashing 52* off 32 balls which included 4 boundaries in it. Soumyojit batted perfectly in the death overs which helped Knight Riders post a 170+ total on the board.

Crick Players in reply were cleaned up for 140 runs in 18.1 overs with all-rounder Hari Pathak bowling a crucial spell to change the momentum of the game. Hari returned with bowling figures of 3/29 in 4 overs which included crucial top order wickets as Knight Riders won the match by 35 runs.

Hari for his crucial spell of 3 wkts was declared ‘man of the match” as he continues his brilliant all-round form this season.
