Left-Hander Jayy Jain continues blazing form, this time a 47 ball 130* in Padmakar Talim Shield Tournament’25

Parsee Gymkhana batting first on their home ground totally capitalized on the opportunity smashing a massive total of 428/3 in 45 overs. Openers Sumeir Zaveri (80 runs) and Nutan Goel (89 runs) gave a flying start putting on 166 runs for the 1st wicket.  Coming at no.3, Jayy Jain who has been in terrific form this season continued to impress one and all as he went on to score an unbeaten hundred. Jayy scored a breath taking 130* off mere 48 balls which had as many as 15 sixes in it as he registered one of the fastest hundreds of the Talim Shield Tournament. It was a complete onslaught by Jayy as he displayed his wide repertoire of shots while Ayush Vartak at no.5 scoring 68* off 26 balls as both the batters 112 run stand for the 4th wicket.

Sainath Sports Club in reply were cleaned up for 220 runs despite Umesh Gurjar’s fighting hundred at the top of the order. Parsee Gymkhana bowlers dominated from the word go with Sagar Chhabria and Mairaj Khan bagging 3wkts a piece as Parsee Gymkhana won the match by 208 runs.
